New Hampsha’ Is For Ladies!

Granite State voters selected democrats for all of the top offices. Our four electoral votes have been awarded to President Obama.” - WMUR NEWS

  1. The new state flag’ll be a Tupperware bowl, and every woman will get 3 paid days off a month “just in case Aunt Flo visits.”

    • Nah, women ’round here wear Mossy Oak and have gunracks.

      • Ahaha I don’t think so somehow, maybe it’s a blatant English accent.

    • I firmly agree. As much as a female-centric state government is news, it’s been pretty much like this for a long while now. I enjoy living in New Hampshire and I often wonder if this is why.

Seems to reinforce for me that New Hampsha’ has some strong, capable women. :)

  7. I am all for women power even though I don’t live in the US. The more women in power, the more compassionate our leaders will be, IMHO.

    • I agree! New Hampshire has consistently had a higher female to male government ratio than most states. It also has been voted the “Best state to live in” more than any other state as well. I wonder if there is a connection…
